Founded by the Chiropractor John McTimoney in the 1950’s, the purpose of Equine McTimoney Chiropractic Treatment is to align and balance the horse’s whole skeleton. Consequently increasing joint range of motion and reducing muscle tension, thus relieving uneven pressure placed upon tendons and ligaments. The aim is to alleviate stiffness, encourage suppleness and enhance the horse’s performance.

Used in conjunction with the others treatments provided at Kazia Equine, McTimoney treatments will help a horse in all aspects of its working life. Just as you or I may go to a physical therapist following an accident or injury, or simply just to correct the aches and pains we encounter going about our everyday life due to the way we are built, our horses experience the same.
